Meet Ms. Sophia

Ms. Sophia is an educator at Puzzles, with a Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Teachers College, Columbia University. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders & Psychology from Queens College. Now a Clinical Fellow in Speech-Language Pathology, Ms. Sophia is passionate about providing inclusive and evidence-based care for all students. As president of her university’s National Student Speech Language Hearing Association chapter, she connected students with clinicians and organized fundraisers for speech and language causes. Ms. Sophia has gained clinical experience working with children to support language development, play skills, and social communication, as well as working with adults with neurodegenerative diseases. In 2024, she joined Smile Train in Jakarta, Indonesia, where she educated and provided services to children with cleft palates. She is a bilingual English-Greek and enjoys crafting, event planning, and seeking out new adventures in her free time.

Fun fact: She’s been parasailing and swam with pigs in the Bahamas!
